We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager and Senior Water /Wastewater Project Manager aligned with our Kitchener team who would provide sales and project delivery leadership, technical expertise and discipline in project execution. You’ll have the flexibility to work from either home or the Kitchener office, with the expectation to travel for client/occasional team meetings.
The Business Development Manager portion of the role will have you working with and leading a Client Account Team with demonstrated success in water sales in Southern Ontario. You will be responsible for understanding our South Western Ontario. client needs and manage Jacobs relationships with these clients. You will also be responsible for the development and management of overall sales strategies for the Water Business Line with our South Western Ontario clients with revenue targets and business development cost budgets.
Working with a team of highly motivated engineers and project managers, as a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager, you’ll champion the delivery of high-quality projects that meet or exceed client expectations and deliver planned profits. You’ll also be a strong safety proponent /leader for our safety policies and our culture of caring.
You’ll develop execution plans for projects, including scope, fee, schedule, quality, health and safety, risk management, and change management plans; you’ll negotiate and manage sub-agreements, track, control and report on project performance, ensure of timely invoicing and cash collection, while also providing technical guidance for deliverables and developing, mentoring and empowering the project team.
