Position Scope and Charter:
Vertex Company is looking for a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join a small multi-disciplined team of engineers and technicians supporting the Transportation, Technology, and Tolling Solutions (T3S) OmniToll product line in the area of sensor development and tolling system deployment.
This opportunity is for an experienced engineer to integrate into an established, international product line team working in a fast-paced, dynamic, agile environment with opportunities for growth. Tasks will cover the full lifecycle including design, drawings, rapid prototyping, spec’ing parts for sub-contractor production, production support, factory and field diagnostics/analysis/repair, application, and equipment installation support and system integration.
Occasional travel and after-hours activities to support tolling equipment installation and maintenance (e.g., tolling equipment diagnostics and tolling site optimizations) are expected. This is especially true during onboarding and product-line familiarization. Some work may be elevated on Gantries (7 meters).
This work will be performed in Woodbridge, Ontario Canada
