As a Junior Software Developer:

- You’ll work alongside our web teams to create beautiful, responsive front-end experiences focused on our report builder and analytics dashboards.

- You’ll be balancing business objectives and timelines, minimizing technical debt, and following test driven development practices.

- You’ll work closely with our data science team to ensure that new algorithms are implemented correctly.

- You’ll collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders including customers, ecosystem partners and building consultants to understand how they use Mero.

The ideal candidate:

- Must have 1+ years of experience with modern Javascript frameworks (Ex. Vue, React) and creating functional front-ends from mockups.

- Must have knowledge of PHP/Laravel.

- Have experience working with API’s, writing tests, and delivering clean, scalable code

- Must have worked with other developers in a team setting.

- Experience working with data streams (ex. IOT, Video, Music) is an asset, but not required.

- Be able to work independently and seek out resources when required

What you would have helped build last month:

- A tool that allows property managers to generate robust reports on the health and cleanliness of their properties.

- An intelligent system that allows cleaners to selectively clean only parts of an office space that have been used that day.

- Scalable and secure API’s that allow for Mero’s insights to be embedded in customer’s custom built clients.
