The Opportunity:
FlyWheel Accelerator Inc. is an exciting, fast growing business. We are part of O2E Brands, the parent company of the hugely successful 1-800-GOT-JUNK, WOW 1 DAY PAINTING and Shack Shine brands. Our mission is to facilitate sustainable growth for 1-800-GOT-JUNK? as a brand by buying franchises, accelerating growth, and providing ownership opportunities for operators on the ground.

We are currently looking for an HR Manager to join the team to support our hyper growth, attract great team members and build foundational HR structures.

 
A Day in the Life:
  • Lead the development, recommendation and implementation of policies and procedures. Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of policies and relevant labour laws.
  • Build leadership HR capabilities related to performance management, recognition, talent management, succession and employee relations
  • Work in close collaboration with L&D, People Operations and Talent Acquisition to implement and improve processes and programs.
  • Support Business Partners in the communication training and guidance related to the application of HR policies and guidelines
  • Utilize knowledge of HR legal issues to best support the business, ensuring compliance with employment laws
  • Advise on all employee relations matters in a timely manner
  • Advise on compensation structures
  • Collaborates with People dept. functions to design and deliver appropriate solutions that help leaders provide an employee experience that attracts, retains and engages people
  • Partners with leaders to facilitate operational and people policies, processes, programs, and tools related to; hiring, onboarding, development, performance management, engagement, and employee relations.
  • Build leader capability re selection, onboarding, employee engagement and performance management

 
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A servant leadership style demonstrated through strong team engagement
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in multiple states
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems
  • HR designation or equivalent experience in an HR leadership role
