Position Summary

The Labourer performs all necessary general labour tasks, mainly pulling cable and trenching.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

Perform general labour tasks including pulling cable, digging trench, moving material
Assist in ground work installations, wiring & testing.
Maintain tools and equipment in ready-for-service condition.
Work cooperatively with other team members on technical issues and troubleshooting.
Comply with railway and PNR safe work practices and signal work procedures.
Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in Construction or General Labour
Able to work night shift
Previous Railway Construction experience an asset
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Minimum G2 License is required

Physical Requirements

Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Exposure to live track/trains and high voltage.
Work is safety sensitive and protective equipment is required.
