Job Duties/Responsibilities:
· Building strong relationships with drivers, provide drivers with load detail information to make sure a safe and successful delivery/pickup.
· Communicate by email, phone. Text, and Omnitracs, dispatching drivers to locations according to customers schedule delivery time/date, safely and in DOT compliance.
· Work on excel spreadsheets
· Have a clear and understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of service.
· Help drivers with routes, monitor out of route miles
· Track and Trace drivers and update customer service with on-time deliveries/pickups. Tracking system is Omnitracs, (will train this system)
· Back up other Operation team members when needed.
· manage drivers scheduled time off and vacations.
