What you'll be doing

We are looking for a Customer Service Receptionist to join our team for a 9-month contract. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Answering customer calls and logging tickets in Zendesk with the appropriate form settings.
  • Being able to provide enough information to effectively transfer the ticket to a Wagepoint Support Specialist, without the customer needing to repeat information.
  • Transfer customer calls when necessary if a client is escalated.
  • During low call volumes, triage email tickets, and participate in special projects as assigned.

What you bring to the table:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
  • You have the ability to stay calm and are able to keep customers cal.
  • You are emotionally intelligent and compassionate.
  • You are well organized.
  • You are able to work independently (remote work) and yet able to work well with a team.
  • You have customer service experience.
  • Some payroll knowledge is an asset.
  • Prior experience as a receptionist is also helpful.
