Job Title

Customer Service Team Member (Physical Education Facility Attendant) - Casual

Position Details

Horns Recreation is hiring Customer Service Team Members for casual positions (approximately 10-18.75 hours per week).

This position’s primary duties and responsibilities include membership and locker sales, program registrations, cash reconciliation, first responder to first aid situations, and other duties as required. Physical responsibilities include event setup, light cleaning, and laundry.

Horns Recreation Staff are the vital link between our customers and the facilities. These positions require individuals to have excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills, as well as a willingness to learn. It would be beneficial to have an understanding of Horns Recreation programs, services, and memberships.

The Customer Service Centre is the switchboard for all non-specific inbound calls to campus – so comfort on the phone and the ability to think fast and problem solve are important skills.

Hiring Wage: $19.47 per hour

Hours of Work: Successful candidates must be able to work evenings and weekends, with shifts available between 5:15 am and 12:30 am

Start Date: With the intent to have staff ready to go for the start of the school year, hiring and training will start in August, or once the right Team members have been hired.

Position Qualifications

Aside from amazing interpersonal skills, the successful candidate must have valid certificates in:

Standard First Aid (current within 2 years)
CPR Level C (current within 1 year)
AED Training (current within 1 year).

Experience with program registration software is desirable.

This position requires a Criminal Record Check.
