Full Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: Provides excellent customer service to Pizza 9 customers and casino guests seeking to purchase food.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Request and record customer orders, and compute bills using electronic cash register
Accept payment from customers and make change as necessary
Receive and process telephone orders.
Relay food orders to cooks as needed
Clean and organize eating and service areas.
Communicate with customers regarding orders, comments, and complaints
Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):

Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and presentation helpful
Ability to handle a variety of customer requests and personalities
Excellent Customer Service
Ability to multi-task
Must be people oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person

REQUIRED EDUCATION OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Good verbal and written communication skills
High School Diploma or GED
Previous fast food experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work schedule varies, flexibility required; Required to work weekends and holidays
Standing/Walking, 100%
Lifting up to 35 lbs.
Exposure to heat and smoke from stoves and ovens
Exposure to some cleaning chemicals
Some exposure to noise and cigarette smoke
Must follow safety precautions and requirements when operating or using equipment, utensils, and chemicals
