Position Summary:
The Customer Service Liaison is responsible for providing prompt, efficient and caring customer service. They serve as the primary contact and service resource for J-Star customers. As a Customer Service Liaison with a direct line to our customers, you will be empowered to proactively share knowledge and provide a positive customer experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Answer customer calls in a timely and professional manner, assisting customers with best delivery options and scheduling, inform customer of any related testing required, fees or other issues with delivery process
2. Comfortable talking to customers over the phone, using excellent telephone etiquette, and positive communication skills
3. Responding to customer complaint emails in a professional manner
4. Genuine empathy and the ability to create solutions for all customer obstacles
5. Interacting with other J-Star departments to successfully satisfy our customers
6. Be able to make decisions that are cost effective and that satisfy our customers
7. Order entry
8. Serves as backup to keep areas like shipping, purchasing, and scheduling
Education & Experience:
1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. 3+ year of customer service experience preferred, but not mandatory
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
1. Excellent oral and written communication skills
2. Ability to manage multiple priorities
3. Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and the ability to learn and navigate multiple technology platforms while interacting with customers.
