The Web Developer leads and provides complete development support for web-based systems under the guidance of the Web Supervisor. This role involves working on a website built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) with Google Analytics 360/Universal Analytics4 for tracking. The ideal candidate will be proficient in website development and be able to handle projects end to end cross functionally.

• Be the Kia Canada subject matter expert on Adobe Experience Manager, leveraging experience to enhance the existing website experience, improve upon existing components, and assist in development of new website additions.
• Should be able to conduct technical requirements analysis, intake brief from various departments, brainstorm internally and architect web solutions and manage the project along the way with the support of website supervisor and manager.
• The web developer has the complete responsibility for the quality and accuracy of all work.
• Design of the overall architecture of the website for maximum speed and scalability
• Implementation of security and data protection best practices
• Translation of visual UI/UX elements to a functional end product with analytics
• Project implementation will include the execution of the project specification, unit and system testing, user training, and system and user documentation.
• Perform on-call and off-site support for operational systems when needed.

• University degree or work-related college diploma in computer science and related fields.
• 3 years active working experience of Adobe Experience Manager, certification will be an asset.
• 4 to 5 years programming experience with website development.
• Experience of working with or building APIs and React components in AEM.
• Must have hands-on experience and expertise in designing and building websites, components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the AEM architecture (Java, Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR).
• Must have an understanding of structured programming techniques (e.g. OOP).
• Knowledge of project life cycle using Agile methodology, relational database management and design, build mobile-responsive websites.
• Understanding of Web Server, networking and various programming languages an asset.
• Ability to create secure systems to handle PII data.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to be able to work cross functionally and execute projects to requirement
• Certification in Java Development, Google Analytics 360/ Universal Analytics, Google tag manager is an asset
